New Sony VAIO F Delivers Quad-Core Muscle, 1080p Display, and Surround Sound - LAPTOP Magazine (blog)

Starting today the 16.4-inch machine will be available for pre-order with a full HD 1080p display, new Nvidia graphics, and a faster quad-core Core i7 processor. The last-generation of the VAIO F offered just 1600 x 900 pixel resolution, but the new display is sharper and brighter. Starting at about $1,100, the VAIO F offers a choice between NVIDIA GeForce GT450M graphics with 1GB VRAM, or G250M graphics with 512MB VRAM. <span id="more-91181"></span></p> <p>The new VAIO F's will be available in matte black, white, and silver. Other specs include a 750GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, HDMI, and 2 USB 3.0 ports.
